World Cyber Games USA 2008 finals to be played at E for All
The World Cyber Games USA 2008 finals will be played at E for All, with winners headed to Cologne, Germany for the main event.
We're very excited to announce that the World Cyber Games (WCG) USA 2008 National Final will take place at this year's E for All Expo. This event will feature 200 of America's very best video game players who will be competing for a spot on Team USA, representing the United States at the WCG 2008 Grand Final to be held in Cologne, Germany.
In addition to selecting Team USA, national champions in 14 WCG "Official Game Titles" will be chosen, including the Samsung Mobile gaming contests, a women's gaming invitational tournament, a pinball competition that's sure to thrill "old school" gamers, and numerous walk-up video gaming contests. There's a bit of something for anyone who's interested in competitive gaming, that's for sure!
Feature matches will include popular Windows and Xbox 360 video games, with live play-by-play commentary offered for the action that you're going to see on giant video screens.
If you need more of a reason to attend, there are going to be interactive displays, product demos and gaming kiosks in the 15,000 square feet we're cordoning off just for the WCG, so you're going to get plenty of opportunities to get your hands on hot games -- and to walk away with prizes, thanks to giveaways and promotions planned for the event, during breaks in the tournament.
